Describe your personality and character:

I would say that I am an introvert with extrovert qualities: I love meeting people, but I gather strength and rejuvination from within myself. I am very independant. I respect and value my privacy, as that of others. I value the opinions and feelings of others, and often make decisions based on how they will affect others around me!

Hobbies:

Acting/film/theatre, writing, reading, music(played the flute as a child, now trying to learn guitar...) painting/crafts.

Philosophy on life:

I seek happiness in everything I do. One of my biggest fears is to look back at my life and regret NOT doing something. I have learned from everything I have done.

What accomplishment are you the most proud of?



Why do you want to become a donor?

I had to do some heavy thinking, and a book titled "Woman on the Edge of Time" helped solidify my decision. The book describes a society in which everyone has responsibilities and contributions to make, and everyone benefits. Certain people were responsible for reproducing-that was their ability, role, and privilege. Basically, if I can provide someone with the opportunity and ability to fulfill the role they have chosen, I am helping and contributing to society as a whole. On an individual level, I look forward to having a child of my own one day. If I were to find that I was unable to do that on my own, I would hope that I would be blessed with such an option as this. I hate to sound cliche', but it really is the ultimate gift.

What message would you like to pass on to the recipients of your eggs?

I love my life and who I am, and if presented with the opportunity, I would not change a thing about me. It took a bit of time to get to this point, and I know I am lucky to feel this way. I hope my sense of joy is somehow able to contribute to your happiness. I believe you have a lot to share with your child, and in doing so you will receive much, I am sure.
